The Social Media Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through as he/she engages with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers and in keeping the current customers constantly engaged. A thorough knowledge of creative and engaging communication through platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, SMS, Whatsapp, Google+, Twitter, Linkedin etc. are essential. A knowledge of creating e-mailers is preferred.
An essential component is communicating through social media the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way what will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected buyers.
The job includes but is not limited to:
Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (images, video and written).
Create a regular publishing schedule.
Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way Engage into cross-promotions.
Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
1. MBA in marketing from recognised institution with first class.
2. At least three years experience in social media marketing.
3. Approximately Rs.2,40,000 CTC (per year).
