Job Summary:

As a Digital Data Management and Custodian, your role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, security, and accessibility of digital data within the organization. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing data management strategies, maintaining data quality standards, and acting as the custodian of critical digital assets. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, data governance, and a deep understanding of the organization's data landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance:

Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define data standards, classifications, and ownership responsibilities.

Data Lifecycle Management:

Oversee the entire data lifecycle, from data creation and ingestion to archiving and disposal.

Implement and manage data retention policies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Data Security and Privacy:

Implement and maintain robust data security measures to protect sensitive information.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and establish protocols for handling personal and confidential data.

Digital Asset Management:

Serve as the custodian of digital assets, including databases, files, and other digital resources.

Implement and maintain systems for efficient and organized digital asset management.

Data backup on cloud storage:

Taking data backup of all the users after regular interval and update it on cloud storage. Remove unwanted data and duplicate file from the data.

Collaboration with IT and Analytics Teams:

Work closely with IT teams to ensure the effective implementation of data management systems and tools. Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and optimize data storage and retrieval processes.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of data loss or system failures.

Conduct regular tests and drills to validate data recovery procedures.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management processes, policies, and procedures.

Generate regular reports on data management metrics and key performance indicators for management review.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, data management, or a related field.

Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a related role.

Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of data management tools and technologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
