The main property is conveniently located in the centre of the city, close to every corner (including the airport and railway station that are less than twenty minutes away). There is a wide range of eating options a short distance from each property as well and Uber taxi/rickshaws can be easily accessed for transportation. Come and stay with us to experience unforgettable Gujarati lifestyle and hospitality.
Dev Viman, the grand tented space on the terrace of The House of MG with Alexander Calder inspired mobile from handcrafted wooden flying god idols and a digitally painted ceiling inspired by Pachhedi Artists, is the ideal venue for parties, social gatherings or business conferences. The Agashiye Lounge & Garden, with majestic stain glass windows, makes for a perfect venue for a celebratory event or occasion. The Lounge opens up to the lawns – Terrace Garden, which is a beautiful option for open banqueting or for ceremonies or function.
“All the rooms are vast, verandah-edged and masterfully decorated, with homey yet luxurious ambiance. It’s an icon of the upper classes, and hugely popular. Service is first-rate, there are two excellent restaurants, an indoor swimming pool and gym are divine.”
THE LONELY PLANET GUIDE
“The House Of MG is what all hotels want to be- incredibly luxurious without being aloof, beautifully restored and a staff that still retains the old world charm of visiting someone’s haveli (mansion) and being welcomed as house guests. I actually whooped with joy at the sight of my suite. It is so beautiful that I walk around taking in all the little details that have been so thoughtfully added.”
