Located in the serene, tree-lined lanes of Western Ahmedabad near Parimal Garden, Mangalbaug is part of the original residential precinct of the Mangaldas family. Within this lush compound stand three charming bungalows from the 1930s, forming a quiet retreat in the heart of the city. Two of these are still occupied by the family, while the third (a beautifully preserved colonial structure) has been converted into the Mangalbaug Gallery and Residency.
Though set apart from the main House of MG premises, this space extends the same warmth and design ethos of our 150‑year‑old boutique property. The ground floor features two elegant ensuite rooms, while the first floor offers three thoughtfully designed studios, each with a bedroom, workspace, bathroom, and access to a shared pantry. The gallery on the ground floor, accessible through a separate entrance, features two large air-conditioned halls, covered and open courtyards, and well-appointed changing rooms with bathrooms, making it ideal for curated events and pop-ups.
